“Brikmann Constructors has been working with GR Construction, LLP on multiple projects over the last several years. GR Construction, LLP typically performs a “Turn-key Concrete” subcontract that includes site concrete, cast-in-place structural foundations and building flatwork (both slab on grade and elevated decks). In recent years, they performed a turnkey concrete subcontract on the WindCrest Extended Care Center building which included a complex foundation layout including 5 building wings with interior foundations and stemwalls for load bearing structural steel walls. The subcontract also included slab on grade, (3) elevated decks, and site concrete package. Their experience and expertise in their foundation work was apparent in the quality of their work, knowledge of their site foreman, and involvement of upper management including the owner of the company. Their layout and anchor bolt placement was accurate and their onsite field staff was able to identify discrepancies in the construction documents to avoid errors and re-work.
